Drug Abuse: Conclusion

Our nation and it's youth are struggling with drug abuse more than ever. The readily availability of drugs and that too with low cost, sometimes lower than alcohol, is the main culprit behind this epidemic. As more and more youth are facing challenges in their life be it be education related coaching that forces them to study for more than ten hours in a day, etc. The youth is turning to drugs as a source of escapism while having a wrong judgment that drug is not harmful it is wonderful, they think it is cool and criticize those who avoid taking it or try to reason with them. This growing mindset of the youth that drug is basically a good way to deal with stress is alarming and a threat to our nation's future. To secure our nation's future it is vital that necessary steps are taken to spread awareness of the harmful effects of drug abuse with seminars conducted across the educational institutes for children and youth.
